Alexander Jeffrey Van Nesse, 27, of South Glastonbury, died Friday, July 9, 2021. He was born July 22, 1993 in Bristol, CT beloved son of Jeffrey Edward Van Nesse of Bristol, CT and Francine Fonte Eaton of Camarillo, CA. Alex was a graduate of Bristol Eastern High School. He played Bristol Midget Football. He loved all kinds of music and spending time outdoors hiking, biking, camping, tubing, and skiing.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister, Amanda Van Nesse of Bristol, CT; his stepfather, SR. Chief James T. Eaton of Camarillo, CA; his stepmother, Elizabeth Deprey of Bristol, CT; his stepsister, Colleen Eaton PFC/E3; his beloved nieces, Deanna and Olivia; his paternal grandparents, Karen and Malcolm Merriman, and Edward Van Nesse; his maternal grandmother, Kristine Waterworth and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Sgt. Maj. Francis J. Fonte Sr., Uncle Francis J. Fonte, Jr. and Uncle James Fonte and Aunt Kimberly “Kim” Van Nesse.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 16th from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton. Private burial will be in West Cemetery in Bristol, CT.
