Jarrett R. Ellis, 92, of Canton, beloved husband of Jane (Campbell) Ellis, died Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at John Dempsey Hospital. He was born September 29, 1928 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Albion and Madge (Parrish) Ellis and had lived in Canton for over 50 years. Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a graduate of the University of Cincinnati having received his Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Mr. Ellis was an Engineer for American and International companies for many years. He enjoyed music, playing tennis, fishing and gardening.

In addition to his loving wife of 49 years, he is survived by his sons, John Ellis of Ohio and Jed Ellis of Florida; his daughter, Victoria McCollum of California and his niece, Marilyn Bashford of Ohio. He was predeceased by a son, Steven Ellis and two sisters, Betty Irwin and Dorothy Mitchell.
