Obituary for Tyler Bridges
Tyler Lee Bridges, 36, of Providence, RI, died Saturday, July 24, 2021. He was born May 31, 1985 in Bennington, VT, son of the late Bradford Lee and Jo Anne (Miller) Bridges, grandson of the late Mr and Mrs Robert Bridges and Mr and Mrs Joesph Miller.
Tyler had lived in the Tariffville section of Simsbury for many years. He was a member of the Boy Scouts Troop 76. He was a talented carpenter and also enjoyed archery, skateboarding, music, playing pool, and the outdoors.
He leaves his children, Oliver Lee and Gabriel Andrew; his brothers Jared Bridges and fiancée Erica LePine of Winsted and Justin Bridges and wife Caitlin O'Meara-Bridges of Bristol; his stepmother Karen Bridges; and his aunts and uncles, Glenn Bridges, Brian Bridges , Bonnie DeSouza, Tammy Lampi and several relatives and close friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 13th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, August 14th in St. Bernard’s Cemetery, 42 Winthrop Street in Tariffville.
