Obituary for Augusto C. Rovalino

It is with deepest sorrow that we share the passing of our father. Augusto Rovalino, 89, passed away on September 29, 2021 in Simsbury, Connecticut. He was born in Ecuador on May 7, 1932 and was one of nine siblings. He studied photography in Ecuador and Belgium, and as a professional photographer traveled to Europe, North America, and South America. He owned his own photography studios in Ecuador and New York.

Our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son, brother, and uncle passed away peacefully. He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Elena Rovalino, Lucia Hoiden, Carlos Rovalino, Francisco Rovalino, Jose Rovalino, Philip Rovalino; his former wife Aida Yepez; son-in-law Erik Hoiden, daughters-in-law Janet Rovalino, Madalyn Rovalino, Linda Rovalino, and Catherine Rovalino. His grandchildren, with whom he was happiest with, Christine Crimmins and husband Ryan Crimmins, Jason Papaliberios, Emilio Rovalino, Amanda Rovalino, Gabriela Rovalino, Olivia Rovalino, Daniela Rovalino, Alexander Rovalino, Lucas Rovalino, and his great-granddaughter Penelope Crimmins.
