Jeffrey Ross Gaumond, 41, of East Hartland, died Sunday, December 12, 2021. He was born March 24, 1980 in Hartford, beloved son of Gary Gaumond of Canton and the late Lynn Ellen (Anderson) Gaumond and had lived in Canton until purchasing his own home in East Hartland 15 years ago. He was a graduate of Canton High School, where he was Goalie of the Varsity Soccer team and Co-Captain of the Varsity Basketball team. He had attended Green Mountain College and was a graduate of New England Tech Institute. Jeff was an Auto Technician for Mitchell Auto Group for many years. Jeff enjoyed spending time outdoors snowboarding, camping, hiking, boating, and fishing. He took road trips across the country, attended many outdoor concerts, and loved to party with friends. Jeff was fond of VW Busses, was an avid fan of Phish and the Grateful Dead and dearly loved his dogs, Hailey, Capone, and Nova.

In addition to his father, Jeff leaves his sister, Kara Marie Gaumond of Canton; his cousins, Megan Lillis-Coss (Yaacov), Scott Lillis (Venus), Kate Renna (Adam), Andrew Webb, Christopher Webb, Ashley LeBlanc (James), Ryan Halverstadt, Ross Halverstadt, Erin Fable, Kyle Silva, Brett Silva, Kyle Rash, Lauren Rash, Jeremey, Matthew, Craig Scott and Christopher Anderson and his aunts and uncles, Kim Lillis, Craig and Debbie Anderson, Leigh and Richard Webb, Gwen and Mark Halverstadt, Dawn and Mark Silva and Denise Rash.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 22, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury. Burial will follow in the Simsbury Cemetery.
