Obituary for Debra Ann Sponcey Parker

Debra Ann Sponcey Parker, 67, of Canton, beloved wife of Ronald Charles Parker, died Sunday, February 20, 2022 at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington. She was born January 21, 1955 in Hartford, daughter of the late Donald Robert and Florence Rita (Miller) Sponcey and had been a lifelong resident of Canton. Debra had a lifelong passion for gardening and was employed at the Wild Carrot Farm and the Josh Bristol Farm as their Seed Queen for many years. She had a gift for baking. A treat from her could turn around your day. Deb was an amazing Nana. Debra was an active, faithful member of the North Canton Community United Methodist Church.

In addition to her loving husband of 40 years, she is survived by her sons, Rory Parker and wife Jessie of Canton and Courtney Parker of Canton; her grandchildren, Max, Ella, Oliver and Bensen; her brother-in-law, Donald Scott and her two nephews and their families. Debra was predeceased by her sister, Cheryl Scott.

A celebration of her life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 5th at the North Canton Community Methodist Church, 3 Case Street in North Canton.
