Janet E. (Parlee) Foster, 88, of Canton, wife of the late Eugene R. Foster, Sr., died Thursday, May 19, 2022 at her home. She was born July 20, 1933 in Hartford, daughter of the late Elton Medley and Marion Grace (Ray) Parlee and had lived in Canton for over 50 years. She was a member of DAR Phoebe Humphrey Chapter in Canton (now merged with the Simsbury Abigail Phelps Chapter), was a lover of animals, enjoyed traveling and loved baking.

She is survived by her children, Janet Jainchill and husband Steve of West Simsbury, Susan Foster of Canton, Eugene R. Foster, Jr. and wife Kim of West Simsbury, Robin R. Delos and husband Dan of Canton and Kyle Foster of Torrington; her grandchildren, Marion, Michael and Victoria Jainchill, Ryan, Miranda, Sean and Kayla Foster and Kylie, Daniel II, Katelyn and Keira Delos and her great grandchildren, Connor Foster and Lennon and Emerson Ouelette. She was predeceased by her brother, Kenneth E. Parlee.
