Obituary for Nathan Dallas Eberly

Nathan Dallas Eberly, 24, of Simsbury, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022, from injuries sustained in a head-on collision while driving home from work. Nathan was born March 5, 1998 in Hartford, beloved son of Christopher Currier and Susan Kay (Shane) Eberly of Simsbury. He was a graduate of the Simsbury High School, Class of 2016. Nathan was a talented athlete where he excelled in baseball. During his senior season at Simsbury High School he was named to the 2016 CT Class LL All-State baseball team. He also helped lead his Simsbury Junior Legion team to a state championship in 2013. Nathan also had attended CCSU and was an Operations Manager for FedEx in South Windsor. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Boy Scouts where he had achieved Eagle Scout. Nathan was a loving son, devoted brother, and loyal friend. He was an amazing uncle with a heart of gold. He enjoyed family trips to Block Island, camping trips to Vermont, snowboarding, numerous family reunions, golfing, church basketball, chess, long-boarding, and was an avid animal rescuer. His beloved service dog Cece will be living with his girlfriend Megan and her family.

In addition to his loving parents, Nathan leaves his siblings Christopher Eberly Jr. and wife Laiz, Alyssa Hessing and husband Ben, Eric Eberly and wife Melinda, Mary Huckvale and husband Robby, Holly Ramos and husband Sam; his uncle Larry and wife Lynne, uncle John and wife Karen; aunt Gale and husband Charles, aunt Gretchen; seven nieces and eight nephews and ten cousins. Nathan has been welcomed into heaven by the loving arms of his cousin Zachary Hauser, and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

In celebration of Nathan, visitation will be held on Saturday, October 8th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 27 Lawton Road in Canton. Funeral Service will follow at church at 3:30 PM. Family burial will be in Simsbury Cemetery.
