Obituary for Mark Orlowski

Mark Orlowski, 70, of West Granby, CT passed away on November 17, 2022 at UCONN Health Center in Farmington, CT. He was born May 16, 1952 in Manchester, CT. He was a graduate of East Catholic High School (1970) and Lyndon State College (1974). He retired from the State of Connecticut-Judicial Department after serving 30 years as a Juvenile Probation Officer.

Mark loved sports especially watching The Boston Red Sox and The New York Giants. He also loved golf and had enjoyed playing in a senior golf league at Airways Golf Course for many years.

Mark was predeceased by his father, Louis Orlowski and his mother Irene (Lojeski) Orlowski. Mark is survived by his wife of 44 years, Patricia, his daughters Kasia Orlowski of Simsbury and Victoria (Orlowski) Shea, and her husband, Christopher Shea of Wilbraham, Massachusetts, his sister, Lynn (Orlowski) Lipskis and her husband Ed Lipskis of St. Charles, Illinois and several nieces and nephews, animal grand-children as well as his favorite red hat.

There will be a calling hour at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury from 9:30 am - 10:30 am on Wednesday, November 23rd. Despite what Mark would say "I went to Catholic School, I don't need to go to church", a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 265 Stratton Brook Road, West Simsbury, CT. Burial will be in Simsbury Cemetery.
