Robert B. English, 64, of Bristol, died Thursday, December 8, 2022 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. He was born November 25, 1958 in Bristol, son of the late Bruce L. and Bernadette (Parent) English and had been a life long resident of Bristol. Bobby was a jack of all trades in the construction industry. He was a member of Saint Joseph’s Polish Society of Forestville. Bobby enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, and relaxing in his garage with his dog Abby and friends.

He was always the center of attention. He was one of a kind with a big heart and massive smile who was loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his ex-wife Maura (Fanelli) English of Bristol and their children: daughter, Tara Zink and son-in-law Christopher of Burlington; his two sons, Tyler English of Simsbury and Robert English and daughter-in-law Jessica of Idaho; 3 siblings and a brother-in-law. Denise English of Bristol; Leslie and John Brigham of Simsbury; Peter English of Bristol; and was a proud grandfather to 7 grandchildren; Austin Healey, Olivia Zink, Rory English, Sienna English, Quinn English, Preston English and Logan English; a niece and nephew; great nephews; cousins; his dog Abby; close friends Roxanne, Jennie and Kiley; along with many friends near and far.
