Deanna Elaine Vernesoni, 79, of Avon, died peacefully on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at John Dempsey Hospital in Farmington. She was born January 11, 1943 in Hartford, daughter of the late John and Louise (Gervasoni) Vernesoni and had been a lifelong resident of Avon. Deanna was a Secretary at The Hartford Insurance Group for over 35 years prior to her retirement. She was a devoted parishioner of the Church of Saint Ann in Avon and a long time member of the Prince Thomas of Savoy Society Italian Club in Avon where loved to attend the dinner dances and play Bocce. Deanna also enjoyed traveling, especially to Pennsylvania for the annual family reunions.

She is survived by her brother Robert Vernesoni and his longtime partner and fiancée Rita of New Britain; her niece, Leah Vernesoni and many beloved cousins and extended family members.

At Deanna's request, there will be no viewing except for immediate family. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, January 17th at the Church of Saint Ann, 289 Arch Road in Avon. Burial will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery in Avon.
