Lucille (Beaudoin) Canny Van Deventer, 80, of Collinsville, died Sunday, January 29, 2023 at Sharon Healthcare Center. She was born April 17, 1942 in Hartford, daughter of the late Leo and Bertha (Labreque) Beaudoin and had grown up and lived in Canton before settling in Clemmons, NC area prior to moving back to Canton over 3 years ago. She was an Assembler for Simplex Security for many years prior to her retirement. Lucille was a loyal observer of the Christian faith. She enjoyed singing, spending time at the beach, knitting, reading, and drawing. She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to spend time with family and was always joking around and laughing.

She leaves her sons, Robert Canny and wife Beth of Torrington, David Canny and wife Lynn of Collinsville, daughter Denise Canny of Collinsville and William Canny and wife Patricia of Collinsville; her brothers, Eugene Beaudoin and wife Mary of canton and Richard Beaudoin and wife Judy of Bristol; her grandchildren, Erica, Benjamin, Chelsea and David Jr., Cam, James, Helen, Billy and Dylan Van Deventer; her great grandchildren, Payton, Johnathan, Michaela and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Dennis Canny; second husband, Ronald Van Deventer; and her sister, Stella Vallo.
