Steven Pantano, 75, of Canton, beloved husband of Suzanne (Tripp) Pantano, died Sunday, August 27, 2023 at his home with family at his side. He was born March 21, 1948 in Philadelphia, PA, son of the late Dominick and Genevieve (Palmieri) Pantano and had lived in Canton for over 30 years. Steven was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the U.S. Army. He was a graduate of Saginaw Valley College, 1975, having received his Bachelors Degree in Political Science. Mr. Pantano was a Banker at White Oak Finance for many years prior to his retirement. He loved history and political science and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. Steve also coached football for many years at Lewis Mills and in Simsbury, Avon and Granby.

In addition to his loving wife, he leaves his children, Lisa Pantano of Springfield, PA, Michelle Pantano of Bluebell, PA, Dylan Pantano of San Antonio, TX and Jesse Pantano of Canton, CT; his grandchildren, Audrey and Austin Pantano and William and Lauren LeBendig; his siblings, Mary Gallo and husband Don, Judie Brennan and husband Michael, Cynthia Harcourt, Frank Pantano and wife Mindy and Mark Pantano and several nieces and nephews.
