Ruth Cannon of San Antonio, TX, passed away on July 8, 2023, at the age of 87. Ruth was born in Hartford, CT on March 21, 1936. Ruth received her B.S. in Business Administration from Bryant College in 1956. She worked for Pratt and Whitney in East Hartford as a Senior Human Resources Representative and Unit Leader Facilitator until her retirement. Ruth was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was an active member up until her death. She was a loyal wife to the love of her life, Ed Cannon. Ed and Ruth were married in April of 1979, and they spent a loving 41 years together. Ruth was a dedicated mother, stepmother and step grandmother, and her family continues on with many cherished memories of her life and love. She enjoyed playing tennis, pickleball and watching sports, especially basketball. She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Cannon and her parents Fred and Hilde Roach.

She is survived by her daughter, Suzan Dziennis and son-in-law David Fulton; her stepdaughters, Kerrie Cannon and Kelly Moriarty (Brian Moriarty); step granddaughters, Jamie Lynne and Maggie Pytlik, Casey and Mary Kate Moriarty and brother-in-law William Cannon. The family would like to extend their sincerest thanks to her many wonderful friends for all their help and support.

A celebration of her life will be held at the First Congregational Church of Canton Center, 184 Cherry Brook Rd, Canton Center, CT on Saturday, September 23rd at 11:00 am.
