John Michael Kozlak, II, 71, of Ellington, died Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Hartford Hospital. He was born December 29, 1951 in Hartford, son of the late Edward Francis and Rita B. Kozlak and had lived in Canton and Glastonbury prior to moving to Ellington approximately 30 years ago. He was a graduate of the University of Connecticut and University of Hartford, having received his Bachelor Degrees in Political Science and in Electrical Engineering, respectively. John was an Electrical Engineer for Hamilton Sundstrand for many years prior to his retirement. He enjoyed traveling and spent many months abroad in other countries. He particularly favored India.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Ann Reeves, Theresa M. Hoyer and Sandra J. Kozlak; his brother, Edward F. Kozlak, Jr.; his nieces, Cheryl J. Liebhauser, Beth A. Hoyer, Jennifer K. Hewett, and nephew Arthur E. Reeves and two great-nephews and great-niece: William E. Mullens, Dalton M. Mullens, and Harley Mullens. He was predeceased by triplet siblings, Edward, Sandy and Donald Kozlak.
