Obituary for Russell Lamb
Russell Lamb, 60, a lifetime resident of Simsbury, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2024 after a brief illness.
Russell is survived by his brother Kevin Lamb and his wife, Diane, his sister Cheryl Lamb, daughter Katrina Ingle granddaughter Kiera, and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, David and Shirley Lamb and brother, Butch.
Russell established his own successful flooring business, Lamb Flooring, where he worked for many years. In recent years, while working part time at Ocean State Job lot in Canton, he was the Property Manager at Farmington Valley Racket club in Weatogue, where he will be greatly missed.
Russell was a long time fan of the New York Yankees and avid collector of baseball cards and M&M memorabilia. Russell’s memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
A casual celebration of Russell’s life will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Cracker Barrell Pub, 30 Main Street, Tariffville, CT from 2:00 - 4:00 pm.
