Obituary for Robert Frank Kimmerle

Robert Frank "Bob" Kimmerle, 82, of Bethlehem, NH, died Friday (September 17, 2010) at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire. He was born December 7, 1928 in Hartford and was a veteran of World War II having served in the U. S. Armed Forces. Bob was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Collinsville, was a proud Mason and life member of the VFW. He moved to Bethlehem, NH in 2006 and lived previously in Ft. Myers, FL and Canton. Mr. Kimmerle was the former owner of Nedsbrook Small Engine Repair in Canton. Bob thoroughly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Barbara (Smith) Kimmerle and his brother, B. Kimmerle. He is survived by his sister, Wilma Diters and her husband of Torrington; sister-in-law, Lorraine Erickson; brother-in-law, Philip Smith and his wife; many nieces and nephews and several friends. A graveside service and burial will be Saturday (October 9, 2010), 10:30 a.m. at South West Cemetery, Simonds Avenue, Collinsville. In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to American Cancer Society , 825 Brook Street, I-91 Tech Center, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
