A Great Uncle
Stan was a great uncle to me not only because he was always there for his family, but also because Stan was dedicated to his career path and this fire of passion has helped me through tough times in my life. My dad (Lowell) and Stan worked together many years at Johnson Gage. However, for every great product there has to be a great salesman to show the customer what the product can do and reveal its value. Stan was such a professional. In my work today, as I write books and software documentation, I endeavor to show people the true value of my work and the software products I represent. In this way, all the hard work that goes into the product is not lost. Stan taught me this. Sure, a great product is great. But you need that someone who can comprehensively express its value and usefulness and in that way the mission of product development is complete. This is where Stan was a true complement to my dad's work. Thanks for the great inspiration Stan. Rest in Peace - you life was a great success and I will always apply your wisdom, tenacity, and professional insights at whatever job the universe grants me.
