Ricky M. Hamel, 43, of Canal Street in Weatogue, died Thursday, December 3, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. He was born January 29, 1972 in Hartford, the son of Real M, Hamel of Weatogue and the late Shirley Ann (Rood) Hamel, and had lived in Weatogue for many years. Ricky enjoyed listening to music, watching his favorite TV Shows, visiting friends, cooking, building model cars, drawing and spending time with his two nephews. Besides his father, he is survived by his sister, Carol M. Hamel of Winsted and two nephews, Joseph P. Macsata, Jr. and Jacob B. Macsata, both of Winsted. He was predeceased by his twin brother, Charlie R. Hamel. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 9th, 11:00 AM at the Vincent Funeral Home, 880 Hopmeadow Street in Simsbury.
