Condolence From: Edward Marshall
Condolence: I worked with John in DoD,he was always cheerful and positive in his attitude.

John was a renaissance man, who had a curiosity in many things and a vast knowledge of many things. May he rest in peace.

Condolence From: Beverly Kozlowski
Condolence: We are here in Oklahoma, but today our hearts are in Simsbury, CT, where many people are celebrating the life of a wonderful, kind, and generous man, John Ploski. He was a mentor and friend to my husband, and Gene has the greatest respect for John, and the greatest appreciation for the influence that John had on his life. I first became acquainted with John and Marilyn 10 years ago when we were back in CT for the Granby First Four class reunion, and I fell in love with this couple. They have a Love Story like none other - over 60 years of being hopelessly devoted and enjoying life together! Marilyn, we are grieving with you, but your "gentle gentleman" lives on in the hearts and lives of all those whom he touched and influenced during his lifetime. May God comfort you and your children as you adjust to your loss, and may your lives be filled special memories that bring peace and joy!
Hugs and prayers, Beverly

Condolence From: Donna J. Gregory
Condolence: Marilyn & Family: So sorry to hear the passing of John. I had the pleasure of meeting John in 1995 while working for DCMA. He had a heart of gold and was once of the nicest gentleman I have ever met. We used to love to come over and play with the train he built for his grandchildren. I will keep you in my prayers.

Condolence: Mrs. P.,

I had you as a teacher in 8th grade at Granby Memorial Middle School. I remember that your husband got to know your students as well as you did. He was incredibly kind, and treated every single student with respect and dignity. You both particularly helped me through a tough year, as middle school was, at times, very traumatic for me. I will never forget the kindness you both extended to me, and how you helped me realize my value. It's something I think about often as I relate with my own students, as I am now a middle school teacher myself.

Warm regards and much love to your family now, and always.

Condolence From: Ron and Shelley Messenger
Condolence: Dear Marilyn,

Ron and I were sad to hear of John's sickness and passing. You and John were (and are) so in love and I pray that God will bring you comfort and strength. I will always remember the picnics and the guys playing guitars. I am glad that John isn't hurting anymore.

We love you.
