Maureen L. (Leahy) Zils Rosansky, 73, died Friday, September 16, 2016 at Orchard Grove in Uncasville. She was born May 7, 1943 in Hartford, daughter of the late Thomas and Genevieve (Bokorny) Leahy and had lived in Simsbury and Canton for many years. Mrs. Rosansky loved helping others, and demonstrated this by working as a CNA for 20 years at McLean Home. She touched many lives with her kindness and compassion. Maureen enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and had loved animals, especially her cats.
She is survived by her three children, James Zils and his wife Patricia of Griswold, Anne Shepherd of Simsbury and Thomas Zils and his wife Estrella of Millis, MA; her sister, Judith Leahy of Cambridge, OH; her grandchildren, Kevin Zils, Luke Shepherd, Paige Zils, Colin Zils; her niece, Sharon O'Donnell and her nephews Robert Cunningham, Thomas Cunningham, and John Cunningham.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Robert Carl Zils and her second husband, Gary Rosansky.
Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike in Canton on Thursday, September 22nd from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
