Dear Hovey Family, I was so stunned and saddened to learn of Davey's passing. Davey was under my guidance when he participated in an internship with the Chatham Anglers about five years ago. He stood out with his quietly cheerful demeanor, level-headedness, and quick smile. I only learned of his illness when reading of his passing, and am so deeply sorry that you all had to take this arduous journey together. I hope there is some consolation in knowing Davey's pain and struggle are behind him, and that he lives on now in your hearts where he will be forever safe. He clearly touched many, many lives in his short time on this earth, and he lives on in all of our hearts as well. God bless. Christine
