Dr. Polio was my doctor for 10 years. He was also the doctor who diagnosed my brother with colorectal cancer and recommended ongoing preventative measures for me. My brother would not be around today if it were not for Dr. Polio. Over the years, Dr. Polio performed many procedures on me and I have never met such a compassionate person who cared so much about how I felt (I fear hospitals and anesthesia)during my hospital visits. He always communicated honestly with me before and after the procedures, and had the best doctor to patient attitude I have ever experienced. He also had a great way of making me feel at ease by adding in some humor when needed, but while still showing his compassionate and caring side. When I visited another doctor at his practice, I was so heartbroken to know Dr. Polio would no longer be treating me. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his entire family. I will never forget what a great doctor he was.
